Hands down the best masa preparada for tamales in San Diego. This tortillería is a literal hole in the wall, a true gem. I have tried a lot of different masas from different locations and the tamales made with this masa always turn out the best. All you need to add is the caldo of your choosing. Make sure to call ahead to order how many pounds you want because it is made fresh to order. I always get 10 lbs for Christmas tamales and end up kicking myself that I didn't get more. 10 lbs will give you around 45-50 tamales. Try them out, you won't regret it!
